I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics and Co-Director of the AIDE Lab at the University of Arizona. I am on sabbatical at Stellenbosch University during the 2026 - 2027 academic year.

My research focuses on the measurement and how data, methods, and assumptions shape our understanding of well-being.

My book, Research Ethics in Applied Economics: A Practical Guide, is available from Routledge and Amazon.
